Naturally logistics must play a role in supply chain excellence. All members of the chain do count the same, not only the interface, otherwise all efforts before were made in vain. And we are convinced to achieve even better results in the next assessment. Our target is clear: 100% must be our goal. We are already among the top dogs. But even better? But how will we achieve that? Some examples:

Our Driver Academy established in 2009 qualifies the staff to the latest standards. Above the legal requirements of course. Truck drivers are no longer drivers or truckers. Drivers become Professionals. The Quality Manager is now a dedicated staff member. We have started a project of overall safety culture in our corporation with the University of Applied Sciences, Bochum under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Dirk Sohn. We do not want headcount, we want qualified Professionals who understand their role and play it safe. We qualify them by BBS methods (Behaviour Based Safety) and already conducted last year the Driver Training to all staff to fulfill the 2014 EU standards (BKrQG as per 2003/59/EG)
